How NAM Health Care started

Not long ago, the National Association of Manufacturers observed the problem that their small to medium-sized member organizations did not have access to quality, cost-effective health plans. So, they teamed up with Mercer to develop NAM Health Care in order to offer this to you. They wanted to offer the best possible package to small companies and manufacturers, and allow them access to the same types of coverage as Fortune-500-sized corporations.

What is an AHP?

An AHP, or association health plan, is a type of group health insurance that allows smaller companies to band together to receive access to the same benefits as larger companies. NAM Health Care also allows you to work with your current broker* (AHP only). If you are using your own broker, please have your broker work directly with his or her Anthem Wisconsin sales representative to get more information and to get a quote.
